“Turkology Summer School” Students in ODTÜ Science and Technology Museum

Summer School students receive education in Ankara Hacettepe University Turkish and Foreign Language Teaching, Application and Research Center (HÜ TÖMER) Within “Turkish Summer School” program of Yunus Emre Institute, visited Science and Technology Museum in Ankara Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ).

Today’s destination for the students organize scientific trips within Academic and Scientific Cooperation Portal of Turkey (TABIP) initiated under the auspices of Presidency by Yunus Emre Institute and introduces scientific presence of Turkey in international arena was ODTÜ Science and Technology Museum.

Except from open air museum that bears the characteristics of being Turkey’s first Community and Science Center, students also visited Classic Automobiles Exhibition, Science and History Historical Exhibition and Science Museum.

Youth, had the opportunity to view not only agricultural implements and large scale objects such as plane and locomotive but also classic automobiles consisting of Turkish and other several local brands in Open Air Exhibition Area established on 10.000 square meters width area, took a little and enjoyful journey to the past in Classic Automobiles Exhibition.

After ODTÜ Science and Technology Museum visit, students continued their program with a city tour. Students participate in a lot of activities enrichened by scientific, cultural and historical trips in their spare time left after their Turkish classes before noon, continue to discover Turkey.
