Turkish Language Course starts at the Yunus Emre Institute in Johannesburg

As of April 5, 2017, Yunus Emre Institute and Turkish Cultural Centre in Johannesburg commenced on teaching the Turkish Language to South Africans.

Yunus Emre Institute has been operating since 2009 and in more than 50 countries, it is also established in the largest city of South Africa, with the intent of improving  the friendship between Turkish people and South African people as well as a healthy relationship between the two countries in the field of art and cultural activities.

Currently operating in South Africa, Johannesburg Yunus Emre Institute aims to possess an important role and to form correct and reliable sources for the people of the two countries. While the Institute is planning to arrange traditional Turkish handicraft courses in which everyone may participate to increase cultural and artistic relations between the two countries,  stage performance with the participation of various artists, conferences with the participation of well-known academicians, seminars as well as cultural promotional days and educational opportunities.
