The Turkish delegation including the Johannesburg Yunus Emre Institute was received by the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, on the 15 July which is Democracy and National Unity Day of Turkey. Turkish Institution’s activities in South Africa was mentioned at the meeting.

President Ramaphosa said that there have been so important relationships between South Africa and Turkey. However, he mentioned that they want to increase the collaborations in field of especially trade, education, culture and tourism. At the end of the meeting, Turkish delegation presented a beautiful calligraphy art to him from Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Art Collections.
