The Annual Youth Expo focus on jobs, careers and entrepreneurship opportunities for the youth of South Africa. It took place between 13 June to 17 June 2019 at the Nasrec, Expo center in Johannesburg.

Yunus Emre Institute and Turkish Cultural Center participated in the programme and introduced a healthy friendship between Turkey and South Africa, in the field of education, culture and arts. The institute also explained the fully funded Turkish scholarship and education opportunities for the youth of South Africa, which are available in Turkey. And also described the courses offered by the institute, which are Turkish language courses, marbling as well as calligraphy courses.

A representative of Yunus Emre Institute in Johannesburg, Muhammed Ali Mbongwa said that the youth of South Africa showed a great interest in Turkey and its culture. He also said that he got many great responses and feedback such as the youth of South Africa are excited about what Yunus Emre Institute is trying to achieve in the country and they are looking forward to participate in the many courses and educational opportunities.
