On the occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s day, the Turkish ambassador to South Africa, Ms. Elif Comoglu Ulgen visited the Yunus Emre Institute in Johannesburg, South Africa.

She attended the celebrations hosted by the Institute and also visited the Turkish kids club. She chatted with the children explaining the importance of the 23 April children’s day. Coming together with Turkish and South African children, Ms. Ulgen offered delicious pasta as well as various gifts for the children.

At the end of the programme, a traditional Turkish handicraft artist performed great handicrafts out of sand art.
